Whats up whith the PIN?If you are cought flashing crack illegally in public spaces, you will be tagged with a bum-pin. The pin will be used on the accused to pin their shirt to their pants. This will prevent potential future mishaps.See..clever aint it.The less bums the better.

Creative Rationale
Stencils
For our stencils we chose to make a life size model of a girl with her bright luminous pink bum crack sticking out, half covered by our group’s main symbol, the safety pin. We went to Hyde Park shopping center and went into shops and asked if we could stick up our stencil in their shop windows. We felt that the most appropriate shop for this would be a lingerie shop. The point of this stencil is to try and show people in a fun but in your face way that bum cracks sticking out do actually look funny, but not always in a good way. It was to encourage people to be more aware and conscious of what they look like form behind. We also put the life size cut out on top of the security guards quad bike to make a sort of action shot, to make people more aware of how bad a situation could actually look. Our stencil was well received and people seemed very curious as to what it was and why we had made it.
Stickers
Our range of stickers include: zipper stickers- that are stuck on the bums of people showing crack; Bumper stickers- that are stuck on the back of cars and jean sticker tags.
Zipper stickers
The zippers suggests that bums are an open exposed body part that one does not mean/wish to reveal, thus by applying a zip to your bottom it becomes an easy way of ‘zipping’ up our crack with a safety pin to hide the indecency.
Bumper stickers
The bumper stickers were placed on car bumpers and plays on the pun: the ‘rear’ of the car. The stickers are designed to attract attention whilst driving.
Jean sticker tags
The jean sticker tags were placed on low rise jeans at an Edgars store and were left for customers to notice as they try on the jeans. Thus wearers are warned beforehand that wearing these jeans might cause their crack to show in public. We wish that it would draw consumer’s attention as they would start to question what type of bodily message they want to communicate.
Bum Badges
Throughout our badges we used words/phrases on how we feel about women showing there bum cracks and how unattractive and revolting it really is. We made use of the female symbol which shows effectively that we are aiming our campaign at women. Our badges were pinned just above the crack so that the arrow points directly to it therefore drawing people’s attention straight away. The colour pink was used as it shows femininity and is bright and eye catching. Ass cracks are not meant to be taken lightly and we should have an anti-bum crack law like Virgina does, towards public indecency.
Stamps
We created three different stamps. Two are of our name Bum-pin and the other one is of a pin with the words PIN-IT inside of it. The PIN-IT stamp is used to reinforce our message that you will get pinned if we see your crack been exposed. The stamp is placed on flyers that have our manifesto on and a warning that you will get pinned if your crack is exposed. Along with the PIN-IT stamp the other two stamps are stamped in places were people exposing their cracks, for example benches and chairs in public places. The aim is that the person will see our stamp before they sit down and will think twice about whether crack will show or not.
The flyers with our stamps on are also used to create awareness of our cause, to motivate people to act, visit the blog and contribute to our cause.
When stamping we used our three colours pink, black and blue.Our stamps are made from foam with our images cut out of it and glued onto the bottom of the wooden block. They are reusable, easy to use and are large enough to be seen and make a statement.
T-shirts and spaghetti strap shirts
The communications on our t-shirts and strap shirts are to inform people of our cause, message and targeted audience. Our t-shirts have a large female symbol on the back with our logo and our website. The large female sign shows that our campaign is aimed for women and is worn by women. The lady thin strap shirts are made for woman only and thus states only females are targeted as only female can wear them. On the back of the shirts is a large bum print that when one wares the shirt, attention is draws to the exposed bum crack.
We are publicly protesting the argument by wearing the shirts to permanently show the signs of crack in public so that passersby would take interest in the unconventional t-shirts and see how girls are parading body parts that are ment to be private.

The Bum-pin team would stand next to the pay counters at clothing stores in shopping centers and hand out bags when they spot customers purchasing lingerie underwear, low rise jeans and skimpy shorts and skirts, any clothing that would potentially reveal their bum crack. Our aim with the carry bag is to warn people and make them aware beforehand of the potential exposure and embarrassment they will encounter when wearing the clothing pieces. The luminosity of the bag attracts immediate attention to the bum pin logo, stating our cause. Thus the bag becomes as noticeable and out of place as one who would show a bum crack.
